Vicar's Message

Dear All,

God has sustained us through one more year and has enabled us to welcome 2008. Let us thank God for the protection and the loving grace that we received from Him.

All new beginnings are good and challenging. They can either intimidate us or invite us to an encounter filled with expectation. When we expect great things from God, we should be ready to attempt great things for and with Him in our lives.

As we enter into the New Year, and approach life and various experiences that we will face, God asks us through Jesus Christ to not be weary or burned out, but to walk with Him and work with Him. (Matthew 11: 28 – 30) God also asks us to “learn the unforced rhythms of grace.” Once we are ready to learn the rhythms which God has set in our lives we will learn to become active partners with God in everything we do. Such a process will help us to take everything that happens, including difficulties, with a sense of meaning and hope.

I want to wish you and all your family members the best and God’s continued grace, sustenance and guidance in your life. Let us approach the New Year with the decision to walk with Him and work with Him, while learning to perceive the rhythms of grace in everything.

Walking and Working with Christ

May God bless all of you this year and in the future.

With warm regards and prayers,

George Oommenachen
